When we sell machines we have 4 main categories of delivery:
Category: New
Our own machines are built and inspected at our facility in Godøya in Norway.
These machines are mainly built in stainless steel and have a very long lifespan, giving very high value during it’s normal operational cycle.
A warranty of 12 months applies to this category.
Category: Renovated
This is a second hand machine which is total renovated in generally as follows:
The machine is totally dismantled, sand blasted, and coated with primer and paint, all mechanical- and electrical components are strictly controlled,repaired or replaced with new ones All bearings, sleeves, wear parts, el. cables are new. Shafts, gears and bevel gears are strictly controlled / checked and repaired or replaced with new ones. Electric equipment will be function tested during a eight hours running test after renovation. Knives are installed and the complete machine will be tested after renovation.
The machine is delivered with basic adjustments (not adjusted for particular fish specie). Service manual and special tools for knives are included.
Final test report and approval report will be available. After renovation the running time recorder will be set to 0 (zero), and the machine marked with renovation year.
A warranty of 6 months applies to this category.
Category: Overhauled
This is a second hand machine overhauled in general as follows:
The machine is strictly cleaned. All mechanical- and electrical components are strictly controlled and repaired or replaced with new ones if needed. All bearings, sleeves, wear parts, shafts are strictly controlled and repaired or replaced with new ones if needed. The frame, gear boxes, etc. are painted (one coat) if needed. Stainless steel frame and parts are not painted. Knives are installed. Test run in our workshop after overhauling. The machine are basic adjusted before shipment (i.e. not adjusted for specific fish specie).
A warranty of 3 months applies to this category.
Category: As is
The machine is not worked on, the buyer assumes all risk and responsibilities for the state and functions of the machine. We do not recommend this category, however for very experienced mecanichs this may be an option.
There are no warranties and no returns when purchasing these machines.
